hm, yea it gets pretty hot, but it was in the car before I bought it. I just put all the speakers in and modded the head unit a bit. SO... i rekon it's been in there for like two years and I use it every day. I would probably worry if I was pushin some major power to some subs or something but I think I'll just leave it.
