Yes, you should be worried about the replacement trans dying.
And about the
updated trans...yeah, see, whats funny about that is no matter what people want to think, or whether Honda updated anything at all doesn't matter....Their SS trans fail. Period. They fial in '97's just like they fail in '01's.
There has been no information of significant differences in the lifespan or longevity of trans from any years. In other words, they all seem to be weak and fail at random, but premature occasions. There are other threads you can read up on.
