NE BBQ '09 - September 12th-13th

Ok folks, so the date is set. It is officially Saturday September 12th to Sunday September 13th. Lets get the discussion going for everything!

*Food and Booze*

I have a Costco only about five minutes from me as well as a ShopRite with a liquor store. I should be able to pick up all kinds of foods for decent prices. I will also provide some beer and liquor. However, if there is some hard stuff you want, your probably better off bringing your own bottle + mixer, or if there's a microbrewery you like that you probably won't be able to get here. Also, we have to get it right the first time. Jersey doesn't sell beer at gas stations or supermarkets and most liquor stores close by 1000PM.

As far as the menu for food, here's what I'm thinking:

- Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers
- Hotdogs
- Steaks
- Sausage/Peppers/Onions
- Potato Salad
- Macaroni Salad

I could probably get a keg or half-keg of something if we have enough people coming and everyone will drink it, but I'd need to know what you guys would like if I do that. By then I should have a beer pong/beer baseball table ready we could also use for flip cup. I'm also thinking of renting a tent for outside because my house is not huge and I'm not sure we can actually fit 30-40 people in my house, if we have that many.

*Sleeping Arrangements*

I have a couple of couches and some floor space inside my house, but it is not huge. I can maybe fit 15 people max inside my house sleeping over, maybe slightly more. There is plenty of room to camp out in the backyard so if you want you can definitely do that. We'll make do!

So basically I figure I will provide food, condiments, and some booze. Everyone can give me maybe $10 to partake in what I provide, or we can assign people to bring certain things, i.e. paper plates, napkins, buns, beer, etc. Also, I setup a poll to try and get an idea of how many people will be coming. Answer as best you can!

Vote and discuss!
