After doing your brake conversion, what happened to the stock calipers you painted blue? Only reason I ask is because I'm very interested in blue calipers but I really don't have the time, patience, or painting skills to accomplish this on my DD.
I made on thread on H-T looking for painted calipers and your closeup photo was posted. It was almost perfect because I also have an SH. The only flaw was as you already stated, the red centercaps. I did some photoshop magic on your pic and then on my car pic. Here's how it came out:
