Yes, I had read that part, but I didn't know how to take the whole backing out of the mirror housing. When I tried to slide it out the side, it wasn't moving and when I looked in the back and noticed that whatever was connecting it to the little powered gears behind it looked really fragile and I didn't want to break them.
