I'm not sure about actual HP gains or how it compares to other CAIs, but the sound is great when you punch the gas. I also noticed much better lower RPM power. Probably the only car product I've ever bought that actually does what it's advertised to do. Starting out from a stop requires much less "goosing" of the throttle. My 2 cents...
