Do you know if they have tested your ignition coil? What about the ignitor (located in the distributor)? Have they checked your cam position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor? Have they checked the play in the distributor shaft?
If I were in your shoes, I would get all of the above checked out. Some of the stuff I have listed are things you can check yourself so it may be worth your time downloading the Helms manual and figuring out how to test some of the above.
