I actcually ripped the harness out of the car I was taking my vtec cluster from and only had to rewire the 4way button. For some reason my trip meters work perfectly fine, but the arrows that flash on the cluster don't appear to work properly. Every time I indicate to turn either left or right, my EL cluster flashes both arrows (like 4ways) rather than the arrow which corresponds to the direction I'm turning. Ground the black wire on the 3 prong connector on the passenger side.
