Finished up my Ghetto Type R valve cover...

Well I finished it up today. Overall I am pretty happy with the results. If I were to do it again I would do things a little differently. Overall my satisfaction level is 7/10.

I started out with aircraft paint stripper. Then I washed that off and cleaned the cover with brake cleaner. Then I wiped the cover down with paint thinner and let it bake in the sun a few hours to dry. I used VHT high temp wrinkle paint and put some thick coats on it. Ended up using the whole can, and looking back on things I put some of it on too thick. I then baked it in the oven at 200 for 1 hour. I left it in the oven to cool for about 4 hours. Then I baked it again for about 30 min. I let it cure for a few days and then today sanded off the VTEC lettering.

I painted the spark plug cover with duplicolor graphite wheel paint. I am going to paint my wheels, strut bar, and intake the same color.

All feedback welcome.
