that was the only thing i needed to do to get rid of that darn check engine light. Do some thorough research if you can on the knock sensor, and good wiring practices. Since I was lazy not to wired it correctly (after engine installation) I just had to deal with the check engine light. The H23A1 ecu will not have a problem, with this motor. You will notice a shorter range in rev and if you redline it, you can hear from the sound of your exhaust when it cuts fuel off and bounces back to lower rpm. sounds great. i did it too much, just because i liked the damn sound it made.
