Is he asking about the sohc f22, or the jdm dohc f22b? The Jdm dohc f22b is a drop in. I believe the only thing it doesn't have is the knock sensor. It's got the same hp as a h23, just a little less torque. I think it's a good alternative if you want to stay non-vtec. You can get a jdm dohc f22b with low mileage for around $500-600. It seems like you can't find a low mileage h23 anywhere.
