3. 99's have keyless entry (standard), the 97/98 does not.
4. 99's have A/C filters, 97/98 does not.
5. 99's have different fuel tanks, 97/98 has 2 less vent tubes
6. 99's have big evap purge canister (square one with 2 big hoses on the bottom) 97 has a single small one (about 1/4 the size) - Did not met OBD2 standards and Honda got suied (reason why some hondas got extended warranties)
7. 99's have different oil pumps (re-designed) sh/base are the same
8. 99's More color's available.
9. 99's engine gained 5 horsepower.
10. 99's engine did not require a tune up until 100,000 miles.

1. False. 97-98 have this too.
2. True.
3. False. I have seen 97-98 with factory keyless entry. May have been an option at the dealer, but this is irrelevant to a used car buyer.
4. Same as #2.
5. True. Irrelevant to a buyer.
6. True. Irrelevant to a buyer.
7. True. Oil pumps needed to change because Honda changed the crank and block then. This is the only real difference this could make to the user is if they decide to build their block.
8. True. However, Honda regularly changes available colors on existing models.
9. False. I claim this is purely marketing BS. Users here have been over these cars with a fine tooth comb, and there is actually no recorded difference between power outputs on any 5th gen Prelude. This is basically just silly marketing by Honda.
10. Most definitely false. Honda defines regular service intervals of, at a maximum, 30k miles. Several items are supposed to be done at 15k miles. This is straight from the Owner's Manual.
