Differences between 97/98 and 99-2001 preludes (not because of sh/base either)
1. 99's rear glass has an antenna built in, the 97 does not.
2. 99's have a cabin filter built in, the 97 does not.
3. 99's have keyless entry (standard), the 97/98 does not.
4. 99's have A/C filters, 97/98 does not.
5. 99's have different fuel tanks, 97/98 has 2 less vent tubes
6. 99's have big evap purge canister (square one with 2 big hoses on the bottom) 97 has a single small one (about 1/4 the size) - Did not met OBD2 standards and Honda got suied (reason why some hondas got extended warranties)
7. 99's have different oil pumps (re-designed) sh/base are the same
8. 99's More color's available.
9. 99's engine gained 5 horsepower.
10. 99's engine did not require a tune up until 100,000 miles.
