97's have the most problems of them all because they were the first year of that gen, i forget the specs but there are many things they changed from 97-99 due to problems etc. Most of those parts are cheep ones, the exhaust is nothing special nor is the head work. The coilovers are nice along with the rims. The sloted rotors have a tendency to crack as do any. A bunch of add on's (no real power) doesnt almost double the price of what a car is worth. Also depends alot on how the owner kept/drove it. If it is a young kid then the car has most likely been beat on because he had to prove to his friends he was faster then them as i once did lol i would tell him to take the bull**** pats off and offer him close to 8k
