I recently purchased a used turbo from Ebay that I'm using in a retro fit, it has a bit of Shaft play but being that this is my first experience with a turbo I don't know how much shaft play is acceptable and what is lible it come apart and make its way towards the pistons. Will replacing the bearings and seals eliminate this wiggle in the shaft? when I spin the shaft it spins very freely but If I reach my fingers in and try to wiggle the shaft it does move a bit. If that helps in the Diaginosis.
oh this also came off a working car, so I was thinking that its probably ok but also rebuilding it would be the safest route.
