Higher compression + forced induction = not good. You won't see any gain by using a Type-S motor. In fact, it may be harder to tune because of the high compression.

Keep the stock engine. Supercharge that, change it to 9.5:1 or 9.0:1 compression with a built engine. In the long run it may be overkill for a JRSC but that's setup is better for any FI system.

At the very least, you don't need an expensive Japanese engine swap that is only slightly different from what you already have.
