I ran an FMU for 3 years in a previous car. It was ok. And I know a guy that tracks a miata with an FMU. Just make sure your pig rich at all boost levels.

Fuel flow is proportional to the square root of fuel pressure, so at higher boost levels you can go lean. Also around 2-3 psi (part throttle boost) you may go lean as well because the FMU is not increasing fuel pressure over the stock system yet. It needs to surpass the stock FPR. @ 3psi, (3 x 12 = 36psi) not doing any thing yet. FMU's don't start increasing Fuel pressure right away above the static FP.
