from what i recall from taking apart many gauge clusters, there is a small latch you can lift that allows you to turn the mini-gears on the odometer manually. however it is incredibly slow and you can only go forward, not backwards. It will take you forever =-T
Some speedometer-calibration shops have devices that can advance it with an electrical device to match what you need it to be at though
