What did you use to cut the panel without marring it up too badly? I'm thinking about using a Dremel on mine and just using a template to allow some universal 52mm tubes to lay inside.
Also you mentioned in an earlier post that you could get more of the carbon fiber tubes. Let us know a price range, as your firend could make some spare cash. Alot of people want a setup like this. We even had a group buy for a custom ABS gauge pod that would fit like oem, but it fell through...

As someone told you already, you need to cut that plastic part behind the console in order to fit the gauges.
I used a dremmel to cut the holes for the gauges. It's slow and painful, but it's doable.
I'll let you know on the price for the CF tubes... I forgot how much he wanted for a set.

I bought the boards from a user on this board (soccer3303) and I made the PWM circuit myself. It was also a PITA but well worth the effort.
