Make sure the turbo is genuine. I have seen scammers selling "t03/t04e" hybrids on Ebay which are actually XSpower turbos, which basically piles of sh*t and blow themselves up real quick.
Understand that the kit you bought is not a bolt on affair. There is a bunch of extra work you are going to need to get this stuff to run:
(1) You are going to have to get someone to weld up your downpipe to your exhaust system. The stuff that comes in this kit is
not ready to run. In nearly all states, running without your exhaust connected to a catalyst violates emissions laws, and you can get fined big time if you get caught.
(2) The other problem I see is that there isn't any O2 bung in the downpipe. You will need someone to weld that in for you also.
(3) There isn't any mention of the PSI of the wastegate spring. That's a pretty crucial bit of info to have.
(4) You will need to have an oil return fitting welded into your oil pan for the turbo drain.
(5) If you run more than 9 PSI you will need a bigger MAP sensor.
(6) You are going to need larger injectors to go with your fuel management.
(7) The wastegate doesn't appear to have a dump tube. Depending your your state's laws, you may have to get a closed-loop wastegate dump, which requires more welding to your downpipe.
I hope you have already contacted a quality shop to do this extra work for you. The welding costs alone are going to be in the $500 range, depending on how good a relationship you have with your shop.
