choppy power curve on dyno

9psi jrsc
MSD 6AL, Blaster coil
Hondata 200b, P28
550cc injectors
bolt ons

1st dyno session, everthing was fine except for the boost loss

Got everything tuned up until the boost drop

2nd session (within two days), got the belts tightened and on my way back to put the finishing touches on the upper rpm part.

Unfortunately this time my car produced all these weird dyno graphs where the power curve was VERY CHOPPY - significant fluctuations (sorry no dyno graphs). Nowhere near as smooth as the 1st dyno session!
My tuner surmised that it could be:

A: Need 3bar MAP sensor b/c I was reading 11psi that day (b/c all the belts tightened) and that is the near hte limit of the stock MAP senosr. He thought that the choppy curve was due to the engine probably cutting off fuel b/c of the limitations of the sensor. However I searched and was informed that 9psi preludes don't need to upgrade the sensor

B: I have MSD 6AL (used) and blaster coil (new). Maybe the used MSD 6AL is crapping out on me!

C: Distributor is screwed...but I got that replaced 20K ago! My tuner said that he had cases where the MSD boxes kept frying up OEM prelude distributors!

All this happened 2 weeks ago and the car has been running fine since; maybe my car doesn't like the dyno? It pulls very well and I have no engine codes. I'm giong to go back to the dyno after I get water injection But until then, I don't know what is causing the choppy power curves!!
