Need to do some fundraising, so I'm selling my fiberglass subwoofer enclosure. I built this about 2 years ago. It's probably the 7th or 8th fiberglass enclosure I've built and I'm getting fairly proficient at it. Enclosure details and pics below.
- bolts into drivers side wheel well area . . . very little space taken up
- ~.75 cubic feet of airspace
- designed for a 10" driver requiring less than 7" mounting depth
- subwoofer shown is not encluded
- enclosure is built so that subwoofer is "flushed" into surface
- very nice matching flush-mount grill included, essentially invisable once installed
- everything is carpeted with charcoal trunk liner. Color is not exact OEM match, but close enough 95% of people won't notice.
- requires drilling ~.5" hole in drivers side trunk panel. A .5" bolt runs from the enclosure, through the panel, and to a stock bracket located behind the panel. This a theft deterrance measure. The enclosure cannot be removed from the car without first unbolting the subwoofer from the enclosure. All hardware included, as well as wiring.
- subwoofer bolts to enclosure via 8 threaded inserts and #10 hex-head bolts. No using drywall screws and stripping out the MDF mounting surface.
Price firm @ $100 + shipping from ATL area. Enclosure is fairly light and compact, so shipping should be reasonable.
