this is something i dealt with when attempting the JDM climate control dealy.
hah, i remember my friend and i prying at the thing and just repeatedly saying "this is going to break.... now.... wow... hmm.... now....... wow well okay... hmmmm NOW..... ............ ....... ..... .......... hey it's off!"
check a manual if you can, but i'm pretty damn sure it just takes a lot of pulling and prying. after that, i'm pretty sure you can see the torx screws.
