hey, dont clay bar when its not needed. i mean its not like ur going to wax after every wash. u should probably clay bar 2-3 times a year. but it doesnt hurt to clay bar that often, ull jsut get tired of doing it. as for every time u wax, i personally do all the steps (clean, plosh, wax) evey time i wax. but i dont wax that often. what i use it Meguiars Quick Wax so i keep my current wax job healthy and renewed without actually completely redoing the surface again. i use quick detailer before i use my quickwax to remove contaminants without using a clay bar or paint cleaner.
