test pipe problem ???
Hey guys,
I got my test pipe today and I had some trouble. When I took the stock studs off the stock cat I messed the threads up a little so I couldn't use one of the studs so the test pipe isn't connected all the way right now and not at its most secure state/tightest.
So since I'm missing one of the studs/bolts on the test pipe, I start the car up and I'm not sure how a test pipe is suppose to sound on a catback exhaust system so I can't tell if this is regular or not. But for sure, I hear most of the sound directly undeneath (where I didn't put the other stud/bolt and at the test pipe area). Is the loudening result of the testpipe suppose to come through the muffler or through the test pipe area?
I didn't expect it to be this loud from a simple test pipe, considering I have a stock catback exhaust thats why I'm kind of scared. So can anyone tell me if this sound will stay even if I put the other stud on to connect it all the way and tighten it at max to close all the exhaust gas leaks?
HELP ME please, I don't want my car to be this loud because that's what the exhaust cut out is suppose to do...
