the vafc splices into certain wires... two to be exact. the air pressure signal and the vtec solenoid signal. if you disconnect it, you will have a CEL, no vtec, and very crappy gas mileage, if the car really runs great at all.

you will have to rewire the ecu to read those signals directly rather than sending them thru the vafc. the other wires, the vafc just reads off of so those are not such a big deal....they're not spliced...just tapped in.
