Well, when you stage at the light dont stress it, the reaction time. Even when the light turns green dont go, take your time. The clock doesnt start until you pass the line. I personally would launch at 6000. The key at that high RPM is to slowly let the clutch out, and modulate the clutch and gas until you feel grip. While doing this also though, try to keep the revs tacked at 6000-5500 rpms. Any lower and it will suck ass. LOL Once you catch traction just floor the gas pedal and shift like a mad man. Thats how ive pulled off my 14.5 1/4mile time with just i/e/test pipe and pulleys.
