It's time to change my clutch master and slave cylinders. I suspect both of leaking. There is a little fluid on the firewall and during my last oil change I noticed some fluid on the bottom of the tranny. The clutch engaugment has been really hit-or-miss. If it's cold out it near the floor. If it warm the clutch feels great. Thrusday it was really bad and I decided to check the fluid. the resevoir was almost bone dry.
So anyways, in shopping around I checked HondaAutomotiveParts for the OEM replacements. They want about $86 for the master and $55 for the slave. Considering the fact that I also have to do my timing belt soon I'm trying to save money. So I checked Autozone and you can order them online for about $25 each. The brand is
Brakeware. I tried Napa and they are more expensive then OEM.
And PepBoys was useless. Anywhere else I should try looking? Anyone use Brakeware rebuilt stuff? Should I just suck it up and buy OEM?
