i have the dc rear lower and i thought it help tighten the rear end better than the diff. i felt when i put the nuespeed front on...

i dont know about the tanabe unit, but i am happy with my dc sport...
now the dc upper rear is a piece of junk that you can bend with your hands, but the rear was def. alot sturdier
