Zaino Brothers

I am a looser, with virtually no social life outside of a couple of work buddies. This leaves me with gross amounts of time to work on my car. In turn, I also clean it on a somewhat religious basis. I have used most, not all, but most of the "Fix your paint no matter how crappy you let it get" waxes and washes, and every time I have been let down. About a year ago I was going to sell my lude for a S2000, while doing research on them on s2k.com I came across a product called Zaino. Everyone was raving about it so I decided to check it out. I'm going to let you know now that if your not serious about your paint this is not the product for you. There are many other great waxes out there Mothers, Meguiar's, Zymol just to name a few. These offer great protection and very reasonable prices.

For those of you who are determined to get rid of those damn swirl marks Zaino is the way to go. You get what you pay for though. For the bare basic car care kit from Zaino your looking at about 80 bucks. That’s just for the exterior. Here is some basic info on the wax itself. It is optically perfect. Basically your average wax isn’t, as shiny as that wax makes you car look its still not perfectly clear. Next Zaino is applied in multiple layers, so you can make it as shiny as you want, or just add another layer a month down the road. Zaino also lasts a long time, like 6 to 8 months long time. Even more if you add a quick layer of polish on there. Zaino isn’t applied like most other waxes either; in fact there is somewhat of a learning curve. But it is worth it, 100% and then some. Tomorrow morning I will have put on my 75th coat of Zaino (told you I was a looser).

I hope this was somewhat educational, and I have at least sparked some people interest. The guys over there are great to deal with and they ship your stuff to you fast. If you are serious about your paint there is nothing better but you better be ready to spend a solid 10-12 hour day on your exterior. If you want to check out there stuff their website is www.zainobros.com. Thanks to the mods who keep things orderly around here, and to all of you who read this long post. See you all at the National Prelude Meet!!!

Kyle
