Yeah the "regular" FRAM filter is dude.
Those are the ones known to be complete ****. I read reviews and the toughguard is a "decent" filter, I didn't say "great" or "the best" did I? It is not as cheaply made and has the features of the top filters

I made the best decision for what I could buy at the time. I won't be getting this one again, but this one is by no means a bad filter.
