Actually, it's not as simple as just removing the hub. I had to do this, and you have to remove the bearing as well. When you remove the bearing, 9 times out of 10 you have to replace it. The front wheel bearings are about 90 bucks. If you're interested in the five lug conversion, you can definately get each side for less than 90 bucks ( and you don't have to take anything to a shop to have done). And yeah, you do have to remove the caliper and rotor. It's not a big deal, even if you did just replace your pads. You're not gonna hurt them.
