I had to decide between osram silverstars or philips, and I went silverstars. mainly b/c u can get a set for like $25 at suvlights.com compared to $70-$100 for philips bulbs typically. So I bought two sets, which is still cheaper than one set of philips. Anyway, one did go out after like 4-6 months, but I think I did touch them w/my fingers I think by accident during installation. The other one is still going strong, and it's been about 9 months. Great light output, and the color is whiter than stock too, so I'm happy with them overall. good, cheap blub for $12/each.
