Paypal help I'd like to add for the Seller:
Dont get screwed is the name of the game with Paypal... paypal does have a decent response rate to emailed questions to them.. but.. they will close your account ASAP if you get alot of customer complaints.
Most of the time since paypal got bought EBay .. you now are dealing with customers that expect the package to be on their doorstep the next day.. if not.. they log a complaint.
Paypal accepts basically 1 sentence explainations when you reply to these complaints...( you can email further details.. but the responses are very slow.. I would call them.. have the transaction ID numbers with you, and any shipping info you have.. or an explaination.)
Paypal wants a shipping tracking number is your best line of defense.. since it shows everyone your intention of fulfilling the order.. and the money is usually placed back into your account in a matter of WEEKS.. not days.
When Customers fight you:
You have any where from 7days to only 3 days to dispute the customers claim and send information to paypal.
3 days is if the customer complained to their credit card company and they issue a chargeback. Send details of the shipment ASAP!
If the credit card company continues the chargeback on the 4th day... Paypal will still defend you with your viable shipping information proofing that you shipped the items to the VALID ADDRESS... note I SAID CONFIRMED AND VALID ADDRESS OF THE CUSTOMER!!!! These are customers with CONFIRMED addresses.
Paypal will send this information to the credit card company (CC) and you will have to wait a FULL 75 DAYS FOR CREDIT BACK TO YOUR ACCOUNT!!!

DEALING WITH UNCONFIRMED ADDRESS CUSTOMERS and PROVEING SHIPPING INFORMATION HELP SECTION
--------------------------------
Paypal has a stick up there ass about shipping within 7 days.. so customers complain about this.. and fight you.
( because you broke a shipper protection rule.. the rules are in the customers favor at this moment to a slight degree.)
Unconfirmed address customers on Paypal accounts are a PITA.
Here are the basic rules for dealing with these type of customers:
-if its a PO BOX or a "SUITE" is mentioned in the address... get a street address... before shipping... and pay the extra buck or two for Adult Signature Required. If they dont have street address.. I would rather refund the money and walk away from the deal.
- IF the value of your goods is over $250.00, pay the extra buck or two for Adult Signature Required. OR paypal will not qualify the transaction for seller protection.
KEEP all records of the transaction for 6 months.
I dont know how but customers that have paid for stuff months ago have attempted to fight charges saying the items were never shipped... dig out the records to squash these deadbeats, or you are looking at waiting for your money for 75 DAYS!!!
Have a return policy stated on your website too.
I still love paypal... but it was much much better before ebay bought them.
Good luck, and shop my websites po members I hook up.
