just talked to Honda...they have never heard of problems for the 97~99 Prelude...that's the reason they are not covered...
also...97~99...since the cars are about 4~6 years old anyways...
it is normal for the tranny to go out...i told him that my car is 97 with 82k miles...and it's been slipping since 50k...and he said...
well...it gave you 82k miles of service...it's time for a new car...
