In case anyone was curious, mine is now 100% functional (as opposed to 99%). I replaced the backlight in the defroster button so it now works perfectly.
The install is rather extensive, I would say comparable to an engine swap, I did remove my dash for it though. In case you didn't see my other thread I was able to install the evap sensor without draning the A/C though. I did it just like I said I would, black taped it to the straightened coathanger, drilled a hole in the evap housing, and fed it through.
I love this thing, especially the auto function. I don't use the A/C unless I am on the freeway though (A/C+ES motor mounts=too much vibration).
