Im going to need more information about the guage your using.
What is the model number of the guage and sender your using.

Is it the M9013 guage or is it the B2513 guage and S8013 Sender? And if not what is the model number.

You are most likely going to need some shelded wire to the sender to prevent the changes that your guage sees from the diffret engine/acc loads.
