Eureka!!!!!! I found the way to install the air mix motor and FULLY open/close the valve (before, mine would only open/close halfway) without even reversing the wires!!!! It's actually so simple that I was laughing so bad after I made it work So it's official now- 100% functional. So without further adieu here's how I did it:

You need to use the cable from your old UDSM control and install it to the JDM air mix motor. If you notice closely on the pics, you can see that the air mix motor is at the coldest position and that the cable is fully pulled. You also need something to hold the outer sleeve of the cable so that it doesn't move when the motor pushes the inner cable:




With that setup, you can virtually mount the motor anywhere! Your only limitation is the length of the cable, but if you want a longer cable you can also use the cable from your bicycle's brake cable I wish I have a video recording of this in action:
