Everything on my lude has been installed by me. I am not a mechanic, just a plain Joe with basic tools. The JR instructions are definitive. If you have worked on cars before and have all of the tools suggested in the instructions, you should be fine. I also HIGHLY suggest you purchase a Helm service manual, if you have not already. It makes the install so much easier, and I consider it my most valuable tool. In addition to the tools recommended by the JR instructions, you should have a torque wrench, as well as either a set of metric U-joint swivel sockets or some U-joint swivel adapters for your sockets and various length extensions, as there will be some nuts and bolts around the blower that will be hard to reach without. In particular, the bolts that hold the blower down to the adapter plate are very difficult to reach, especially on the back side between the blower and the firewall. The heads of these bolts also sink into recessed positions, so I found that using a thin walled 1/4" drive socket for them was best for fit.
