Hey, that pulley looks familiar!
---
I've said it before, I'll say it again... say it with me:
It's not 9psi that blows engines, it's bad tuning.
Remember, just because *you* can't hear detonation, doesn't mean you don't have a problem. The Prelude engine was not designed with boost in mind. Take some precautions.. buy a J&S Safeguard. Yes, I know they are not cheap. Would you rather blow your engine? I know I don't (and didn't!). Why am I *still* the only person on the "not blown" list who ran 9psi for a long period of time? Look at my setup and connect the dots already.
The cylinder pressures generated by boosting at 9psi are *nothing* compared to the cylinder pressures caused by extreme detonation. This is what blows engines. I'm not saying that the stock cylinder walls are bulletproof, but I think it's safe to say that a ring land will probably fail before a cylinder wall.. as we have seen here, over and over.
People keep turning the knob on the JR EMS down, enjoying the fact that their car is getting faster with each click.. but they have no real way of knowing if something is wrong. It's like flying blind.. you have no instrumentation to give you feedback based on your changes (turning the knob).
Sharkcohen has a J&S, so I think he'll be the next at 9psi on the "not blown" list. Carry the torch, brotha
/rant off
Shameless promotion: On a side note, someone

still has a J&S Ultra Safeguard version 1 for sale. Perfect for a JRSCed Prelude. PM me.
